Olivia Burchietti (she/they) holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Trento University (Italy) and a Master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Amsterdam (the Netherlands), where they focused mostly on Gender and Migration Studies. Their academic training was strengthened while conducting their research on gender in Italian public spaces, as well as working as a research assistant at the UvA and within the “I-POLHYS” project. Their main research interests are gender and sexuality; race, ethnicity, migration; movements, and conflicts. Their research questions are inspired by intersectional feminism.
